Discovering Jenifer Jennings: Biblical Fiction That Brings Thessalonica to Life
New release alert!
Jenifer Jennings is a new-to-me biblical fiction author. I've recently read her free novella, Leaving Home. Then I moved right into her latest, Keeping Thessalonica. It's the story of Persis, a bondservant to Aristarchus.
Aristarchus was a loyal friend to Paul. He's mentioned several times in three different New Testament books. He's a fascinating, little-mentioned brother in Christ!
But Keeping Thessalonica is about Persis, her journey to understanding freedom in Christ and her own value in Him. It is not a romance, unless we count the love she has for her Savior.
Great story! I'll never read the books of Thessalonians the same again--the mark of great biblical fiction. Jenifer really brought them to life in Keeping Thessalonica.
If you'd like a little taste of her excellent writing, try the free prequel Leaving Home. Or go straight to the main books in her series. I'm so glad to have found another great biblical fiction author, and she has so many books to choose from!
